to come and go. these hibiscus have been a treat. they trigger special memories of a trip made many years ago, when naphtali and i visited my sister in mexico. at one resort they placed a hibiscus blossom on the bed each morning last spring i started a variety of hens and chicks and sedums along the top of a wall. many of them made it through the winter and a few new ones were added this spring. they are filiing in nicely.
Thanks for visiting my little corner of cyberspace. My name is Ilona. Home is currently a small, central Nebraska town shared with my husband, Tim, and golden retriever, Charlie. I work part-time at our local library - a job I truly enjoy. While the art of homemaking is my first love and you would normally find me dabbling in a variety of crafts, projects and gardens, this year "college student" has been added to my list of daily routines, claiming a disproportionate amount of my time. There are surprises, though, everyday.....
