An Introduction
Thanks for visiting my little corner of cyberspace. My name is Ilona. Home is currently a small, central Nebraska town shared with my husband, Tim, and golden retriever, Charlie. I work part-time at our local library - a job I truly enjoy. While the art of homemaking is my first love and you would normally find me dabbling in a variety of crafts, projects and gardens, this year "college student" has been added to my list of daily routines, claiming a disproportionate amount of my time. There are surprises, though, everyday.....

We close here May 27, there, June 3.
The house is empty so we're going to see if it would be possible to get in earlier in the week.
My semester has ended, Saturday was my last day at the library; there is a different energy here.
what fun mom . I can't wait to come and help paint. :) I am so glad you will be closer. weird though, after all these years........ i am happy that you will be in Des Moines but sad that we won't see the mountains every year. I am sad about Jacob moving too.... i loved visiting him out East. Maybe I need to move somewhere more exciting.
Oh, I'm just making plans to visit out west - never been in that particular corner of the country.
I'll miss the mountain trips, too. We'll just have to find some good hiking/camping options closer to home.
And, yes, I'll be glad to have some help painting.
